A Counselor with Lived Experience
Shannon’s approach is shaped by both her professional expertise and personal journey. Having experienced child & adult sexual abuse, domestic violence, substance abuse, and trauma, she understands firsthand the weight of hopelessness and unworthiness. This deep personal connection allows her to inspire resilience and offer clients a path toward healing and transformation.
Her profound empathy and compassion create a safe space for clients to process their pain. She prioritizes addressing all forms of trauma, including those often minimized or overlooked. While her warmth fosters a supportive environment, Shannon is also direct—encouraging clients to take action and reclaim their lives.
Helping Clients Rebuild & Thrive
With over a decade of mentoring experience, Shannon specializes in helping clients rebuild their trauma responses and coping mechanisms, whether through individual or couples counseling. She has guided many through the healing process, fostering healthy-sustainable relationships and supporting their reintegration into life after trauma.
